Our History

Pacific Ridge Homes is a place where the spirit of family, commitment, and honesty has transformed a small family-owned construction company into the largest locally owned and operated homebuilder in Snohomish County. 

Founded in 2000, by four couples, Pacific Ridge was originally named Family Quality Construction. We built 16 new homes in our first year, and in the process, gained valuable experience about what a homebuilder could offer to our customers. With a focus on creating homes suited to individual lifestyle, and a willingness to listen to each customer’s unique needs, Pacific Ridge Homes quickly became known as the builder of quality and choice. 

Today, Pacific Ridge Homes has built over 1,000 homes throughout the Puget Sound region working with a myriad of high quality partners, vendors, and sub-contractors. While the size of the company has steadily grown, our core values remain the same. Honesty, integrity, loyalty, commitment to the customer, and a spirit of family - is the heart of who we are.

Justin Goff

Since 1991, Justin has held superintendent positions for a variety of home construction operations. In addition to his role as our head superintendent, he manages all of our land acquisition and development efforts. Justin has a degree in construction management from Central Washington University and brings us impressive experience supervising land development and home construction.

Mike Kinney, Jr.

Mike Kinney, Jr. holds a degree in construction management from Central Washington University and brings with him valuable experience in the organizational, marketing, and business management aspects of new home construction. His ability to evaluate the needs of landowners and homebuyers, and to design new home communities that meet those needs, has been critical to the success of our company.

Mike Kinney, Sr.

Michael Sr. brings over 30 years' experience in the real estate industry to our organization. He founded and led many development and construction firms, which have developed and built thousands of homes throughout Washington and Alaska. His expertise includes sales, land development, and home construction.

Mark Hagenbaugh

Mark's background includes a wide range of experience in business and operations management. He has held several executive positions in the healthcare industry, including serving as Regional Vice President for Horizon Health Care, an operator of 61 rehabilitation clinics in the Pacific Northwest. Following this position, he joined the development/construction field in 1998. We at Pacific Ridge are fortunate to benefit from his business acumen. He helps keep our business running smoothly every day.
